The Director, in partnership with the WMS Delivery Manager and management, creates the value proposition and business case for new product positioning / offering, along with developing and nurturing all necessary partnerships in order to grow the practice in a controlled and profitable way. The Director’s main responsibility is also to perform the sales efforts for the WMS offering (this includes possessing in-depth knowledge and understanding of the market and competitive products), client’s meetings, N’ware WMS events, and demonstrations of products to prospects.
The Director is also responsible to optimize the practice efficiency at all levels by applying N’ware standardized methodology and works closely with the WMS Delivery Manager for monitoring projects progress and takes corrective actions as needed while maximizing value delivered to clients.
The Director also works with Product Owners and the WMS staff to bring and keep momentum and provide feedback on internal product roadmap so N’ware can improve value delivered to clients and provide continuous training for team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
- Ensure that WMS practice is growing in a controlled and profitable way by participating in creating proper product offering (Software Systems, equipment, automation, supplies, etc.) as well proper pricing per market or territory while being competitive in the SAP or other applicable ecosystems.
- Actively participate in the sales process (assessment, demonstration, proposal), in the channel and achieving new agreements with new partners to grow the business.
- Work with Client Care, Marketing and Sales to promote the WMS offering to current SAP install base in all territories (within N’ware & Outside of N’ware).
- Constantly interact with different N’ware teams more specifically for making sure the current install base of LISA and other WMS offerings is able to experience sustained value and efficiencies (migration path, product features/functions, KPIs, Automation opportunities)
- Review and evaluate new client requests related to requirements and limit development or expectations to ensure successful implementation of selected WMS
- Provide training and information on Products and Services to both N’ware WMS team members and colleagues across the organization.
- Monitor the market landscape, stay updated on competitor and complementary products and activities, and identify opportunities for product enhancements.
- Represent the company at strategic networking events to foster partnerships and generate leads.
- Participate in go-to-market strategies for the practice and assist in establishing pricing, credit terms, guarantees, and delivery schedules in line with company policies.
- Actively participate in project initiation, establish credibility with the clients, and provide guidance to the project teams.
- When applicable and needed, serve as a WMS Practice Strategic Architect for unique client needs or challenges.
- Develop and nurture partnerships with internal staff, partners (hardware, equipment, supplies, automation), and vendors to expand the N’ware WMS practice as a comprehensive solution provider for clients.
- In collaboration with WMS Delivery Manager, recommend recruitment needs based on backlog of contract hours, and expertise required for the practice.
- In collaboration with WMS Delivery Manager, manage escalations from active projects and serve as the primary point of contact for management.
- Does all other tasks require by his supervisor as part of his functions.

- Skill in developing and executing strategic plans for project and resource management.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to maintain and enhance client relationships, ensuring their needs are met or exceeded.
- Experience in identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, meeting with potential clients, and participating in promotional events.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with teams, clients, and management.
- Proficiency in budget management, including project budgeting, tracking expenses, and ensuring profitability.
- Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management System) and related technologies to provide technical guidance to project teams.
- Ability to deliver effective sales presentations and product demos to potential clients.
- Skill in resolving conflicts and escalations effectively and professionally.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Training: Bachelor’s degree in administration or computer management
- Experience: More than 5 years’ experience in project management and ERP implementation
- Linguistic knowledge: Excellent French and English
- Computer knowledge: Office suite as well as MS Project
