The line gets especially blurry between application hosting and SaaS (which refers to in the cloud). Hosting primary objective is to offer “off the rack” software — such as application hosting.
Essentially under hosted, servers are in fact located in someone else’s datacenter – There is two options for hosting – Partner Hosted or SAP Hosted.
